BESS Biosystems Engineering senior design team placed second in the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE)  Gunlogson Environmental Design competition, in Anaheim, CA on July 31, 2024. The title of their project was Energy Dissipating Headwall, which involved re-designing the headspace outside a stormwater culvert. The students are from left to right Aaron Eimers, Julian Yee and Will Carey, who are being handed their prize by Dr. Dana Porter president of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. Dr. Daniel Yoder was the advisor of this senior design project.
