The Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Department of Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science was created in 2001 as the environmental and soil science major with three concentrations: soil science, environmental science, and conservation agriculture and environmental sustainability. In 2025, the major designation changed to environmental science with two optional concentrations: soil science and conservation agriculture and environmental sustainability.
