Karalee Corbeil was the top 2020 Herbert College of Agriculture (HCA) summer graduate. Karalee graduated in Environmental & Soil Sciences (Environmental Sciences concentration with Watershed Minor) In addition to having HCA’s highest GPA, Karalee worked as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Sean Schaeffer’s laboratory for two years. She was very involved in research as she designed and conducted her own project, which was presented at the UTK EUReCA competition. The title of her poster was “Seasonal and cover cropping effects on soil microbial respiration and inorganic N availability”. She is currently working for AmeriCorps with the Knox county stormwater office. Congratulations Karalee!
