Graduate students are not assigned secretaries. The secretarial staff is not permitted to do typing of a personal nature, which includes typing of personal course work, theses, resumes, or dissertations. If a graduate student needs secretarial assistance for a work-related assignment, the student should submit the work through the major professor.
