Lori Duncan is Cotton Researcher of the Year!

BESS’ own, Dr. Lori Duncan, has been named 2023 Cotton Researcher of the Year.  She won the award for her continuous work in sustainability which include implementation of the Field PrintCalculator, establishment of the use cover crops, construction of wetlands, promotion of sustainable cotton production in the U.S., and investigation of soil compaction in Mid-South no-till cotton production. Her Educational Programs on centered demonstrating methods for soil carbon conservation, erosion reduction, and water capture.
