Construction Science Management (CSM) students help out at Trade’s competition

This is the second year that the Builder’s Exchange organized a Trade competition for high school students. This year high school students from Lenoir City, Greenback, Union County, Halls, Anderson County, Loudon, South Doyle, Jefferson County, Gibbs, Oliver Springs, Karns, Sevier County and William Blount competed at the Jacobs Building at the Chilhowee Park and Exposition Center in Knoxville.  Their task was to frame a laundry room with corresponding electrical circuitry and plumbing. The CSM students framed the platform and oversaw safety aspects during the competition. This competition was made possible through donations of time and money from Knoxville contractors and subcontractors. Thank you to the Builder’s Exchange for organizing the competition!
