Dr. Paul Ayers is retiring after a 36-year university career. Dr. Ayers came to the University of Tennessee from Colorado State University in 2002. He had a teaching and research appointment, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes as well as conducting over $2 million worth of research projects, mainly with the Department of Defense. Dr. Ayers is a Fellow of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. Dr. Ayers was always very collegial and collaborative and was a pleasure to work with. He was granted the status of Professor Emeritus and we hope that he will drop by on a regular basis. All the best in your retirement Dr. Ayers!
