Dr. Lori Duncan received the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) Larry W. Turner Young Extension Professional Award at the annual meeting in Anaheim in July 2024. The Turner award is for individuals under the age of 40 at the time of selection and recognizes excellence in personal character and outstanding achievement. Dr. Duncan was the lynchpin in developing a program in sustainable row crop production to promote adoption of best management practices to reduce environmental impacts, while maintaining and improving crop profitability. In 2023, Dr. Duncan received the Cotton Researcher of the Year award and in 2020 was selected as the Field to Market Trusted Adviser of the Year award. We are very glad that ASABE recognized Dr. Duncan’s relentless work with the Larry W. Turner Young Extension Professional Award. Congratulations Dr. Duncan!
