Dr. Sindhu Jagadamma, associate professor in the department of Biosystems Engineering and Soil Science (BESS), was awarded the Professional Promise in Research and Creative Achievement Award at the Honors Banquet on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Dr. Jagadamma started in BESS in 2016. She has established a vibrant and productive laboratory, is a sought-after mentor, is making an outstanding contribution to research by improving the sustainability of managed ecosystems and has established solid national and international reputations. She has or is in the process of advising six PhDs and six Masters graduate students.  Congratulations Dr. Jagadamma!
